"It is a truth that in our darkest times we are willing to go the deepest. When life is good, we live superficially; we are not very reflective. But when the sea gets rough, we step out of ourselves and ponder why things have unfolded as they have. This leads to remarkable learning and growth. ANd life is all about growth and stepping into who we are meant to be." - From 'Daily Inspiration', by Robin Sharma

June 3rd, Sharing what I received today!
GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!
Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have the power to create conditions in your life.What you speak about, you can bring about.- If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.
- If you keep saying you can't stand your body,your body can become sick.
- If you keep saying you can't stand your car,your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
- If you keep saying you're always broke, guess what?You'll always be broke.
- If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman,you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.
- If you keep saying you can't find a job,you will remain unemployed.
- If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you,our very thoughts will attract moreexperiences to confirm your beliefs.
Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.
- Watch your "Thoughts,"they become words;
- Watch your "Words," they become actions;
- Watch your "Actions,"they become habits;
- Watch your "Habits,"They become character;
- Watch your "Character",for it becomes your "Destiny"
Enjoy every minute you live!!

Getaway road trip - Nandi Hills

I had heard my friends talk about Nandi Hills and the sceinic beauty the hill top provides but I never got around to visit the place in the last 3 yrs. Finally, a family holiday meant a 'long drive' to any place that could be reached in less than 2 hrs and back the same day.....Nandi Hills was a unanimous choice. The 60 km drive was not very tiring and the last 20 kms to the hill top was breathtaking. With vineyards and grape sellers leading the path, the hill top was simply breathtaking. 'Tipu's Drop' - where Tipu Sultan is believed to have dropped prisoners to their death still stands menacing. Another interesting fact about Nandi Hills is the number of monkeys that inhabit the hill top. On a rough estimate, there must be as many monkeys as there are tourists. We nearly got mauled by the monkeys but a little daring act of staring them straight in their eyes instead of running away and shreaking helped.
I found some rare variety of flowers and couldn't resist the urge to capture their beauty in my camera.
In my opinion, going to Namdi Hills early in the morning to catch the rising sun or later in the afternoon to catch the setting sun would be a fantastic experience.....perhaps next time!
